Girl, 9, claims 4 men tried to kidnap her in Senawang

SEREMBAN: A nine-year-old girl claimed she was kidnapped by
a man at Taman Satria on Saturday.
The girl’s father Asok Daeng Paware, 31, when contacted
today said his eldest daughter, was on her way back home after running errands
for his wife during the 11.55am incident.
“My wife who is pregnant asked my child to buy prepaid
top-up card at a nearby sundry shop.
“On her way back, she was approached by four men in a van.
“One of the suspects offered her a candy and asked her to
follow him,” he said.
The father of three added that his daughter ran away after
seeing a knife hidden in one the suspects' pocket.
“When she arrived home, she was shaking and crying. She
informed me of the incident and I rushed to the scene, however the suspects had
left.
The father then lodged a police report at Senawang police
station.
“I am glad that my daughter was unharmed,” he said.
Meanwhile, district police chief Assistant Commissioner
Muhamad Zaki Harun when contacted confirmed receiving the report and said investigations
were in progress.
